The European network

for cell migration studies

This workshop will be organised by the student representatives together with the Ireland-based partner  Andor and the coordinator.

Each of the following topics, which are relevant to the main goals of InCeM, will be presented in lecture/discussion group formats:

  • Cytoskeletal networks: Manipulation and cross-talk
  • Mechanics of membranes and cytoskeleton
  • Analysis of Rho GTPase activity states
  • Microscopy-based methods for monitoring signal network activities and acute network perturbation techniques
  • Novel genetic manipulation procedures
  • Advanced microscopy techniques
  • Small molecule screens
  • Image processing of static structures
  • Image processing of dynamic structures
  • Finite element simulation for cell motility
  • Training in soft skills (presentation techniques, writing skills, networking)
